Marcel Duchamp experienced the birth of Cubism and Futurism. He participated in Dadaism and Surrealism. He laid down the basic ideas of conceptual art and almost all movements of the first three-quarters of the 20th century. This catalog is almost a "Duchamp ready-made", a collector's item as well as a source of information on the brilliant chess player-artist-jack of all trades who awakened the avant-garde in the United States.
